Hosts Lyon come into this contest having been held to a goalless draw at Lens in their last Ligue 1 matchup. Les Gones lost their first two league fixtures of the new season before a thrilling 4:3 win against Strasbourg in their most recent home fixture.

High-scoring outcomes have been fairly frequent occurrences at this venue in 2024. Lyon saw at least three goals scored in four of their last five home matches, with an average of 4.9 goals scored in those matches.

With Marsille in such good goal-scoring form, and adopting the attack-minded style of their new coach, another high-scoring outcome seems likely on Sunday.
